Customize fonts, colors, spacing, and margins to match your style
Font Selection
Choose from 5 PDF-compatible fonts that work perfectly for printing:
Helvetica
Modern, clean sans-serif (default)
Arial
Similar to Helvetica, widely recognized
Times
Classic serif font, professional and traditional
Georgia
Elegant serif, great readability
Courier
Monospace font, technical and uniform
Font Size
Adjust the overall font size of your resume. Choose from Small (10pt), Medium (11pt), or Large (12pt). Medium is recommended for most situations as it balances readability and content density.
Color Schemes
Select a color scheme that matches your style:
Modern
Bold blue accents with contemporary styling
Classic
Traditional black and gray for conservative industries
Minimalist
Subtle colors that keep focus on content
Section Spacing
Control the vertical spacing between sections using the spacing slider (0-100). Higher values create more breathing room between sections, while lower values allow you to fit more content on a single page.
Margins
Choose from three margin options:
- Narrow: Maximum content per page, best for lengthy resumes
- Normal: Balanced margins, recommended for most resumes
- Wide: More white space, creates an elegant, spacious look
Applying Formatting
Click the "Formatting Options" button in the resume builder to open the formatting modal. All formatting changes are applied globally to your entire resume and are visible immediately in the preview panel. Your formatting preferences are saved automatically with your resume.
